Yes. Every plan comes with a 14-day free trial with full access to everything on that plan, and no card to start. You add one when you first publish a page or send to your readers, and nothing is charged until the trial ends; cancel before then and you pay nothing. After your first payment you also have a 30-day money-back guarantee.

Free email tiers attract spammers, and spammers ruin deliverability for everyone sending from the same infrastructure. Because every AuthorSend sender is a paying creator, our sending reputation stays clean — which means more of your emails land in inboxes instead of spam folders. We think a full-access 14-day trial is a fairer deal than a crippled free plan.

Never. Only active readers count. When someone unsubscribes from your emails or an address hard-bounces, they stop counting against your plan immediately. We also never count the same reader twice, no matter how many lists or segments they belong to.

We notify you in-app as you approach your limit, and nothing breaks if you cross it — there are no overage fees and we never delete your readers. Your existing readers keep receiving your emails; you simply upgrade to the next plan when you are ready to keep adding new ones.

Almost always, yes. To protect everyone’s deliverability, brand-new sending accounts warm up over the first several days — daily volume starts a little lower and climbs automatically as your reputation proves out. Most authors never notice; if you are importing a large list for a launch, connect your account a few days ahead and it will be at full capacity when you hit send. There is never a per-email charge or a monthly send cap.

Yes — the AI writing assistant and brand voice are on every plan, never locked to a higher tier. Each member of your team gets a monthly allowance of AI generations (50 on Spark, 100 on Starter, 500 on Growth, 2,000 on Pro) that resets every month; higher tiers simply include more. It is metering to keep the tool fast and sustainable, not a paywall on the feature.

Moving your list is free on every plan. Export from your old platform, add the files in AuthorSend, check the numbers, and bring them in — it takes minutes, and it brings your readers, custom fields, lists, tags, and unsubscribes. Rather not do it yourself? Send us the files from the same screen and we run it for you, also free on every plan. Segments, automations, forms, and email designs don’t transfer between platforms, so those are rebuilt here, and that is where the higher plans add hands-on help: Growth includes an assisted migration (we review your import and your warm-up plan before you cut over), and Pro includes a full concierge migration — we rebuild your segments, automations, and forms, set up your sending domain, and schedule the cutover with you, starting once your first payment has gone through. Concierge migration is available to any other plan as a paid add-on — just ask.

Probably not. Every plan includes an author website with a blog, hosting and SSL, on your own domain or a free authorsend.site address, and higher plans include more sites for authors who write under more than one pen name. Your book pages fill in from your catalog and stay current when you edit a book. The one thing we don’t sell is the domain name itself: you register that with any registrar, then connect it here in a few minutes.

No. Your emails carry your name and your sending identity on every plan — we never stamp our logo on what you send, and branding removal is never an upsell. The one exception is the standalone page a signup form is hosted on, which shows a small “Powered by AuthorSend” line until you add your own brand name in settings — which you can do on any plan, including Spark.

Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade from your billing settings at any time, and the change takes effect right away. The difference is prorated: upgrade and you pay only for the rest of the current cycle; downgrade and the unused portion is credited toward your next invoice.

Yes. Annual billing saves you roughly 20% compared to monthly billing — about two and a half months free. The discount is applied automatically when you toggle to annual pricing.

Yes. If AuthorSend isn’t right for you, email us within 30 days of your first payment and we refund it in full. That is on top of the 14-day free trial, so you get six weeks to be sure.

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your billing settings. Your access continues until the end of your current billing period, and you can export your readers before leaving.
